"The LAT Kampung Boy The Musical 2011 is based on the successful Kampung Boy graphic novel by cartoonist Datuk Mohd Nor Khalid a.k.a Lat, chronicling his life from childhood to his career as a cartoonist.

The LAT Kampung Boy The Musical 2011 script is written by Harith Iskandar, directed by Hans Isaac & Harith, played by Awie (from Wings), Atilia, Datuk Rahim Razali, Douglas Lim and Sandra Sodhy. This musical is produced by Malaysian National Institute of Translation and Tall Order Productions in collaboration with the Information, Communication and Culture Ministry."
